This is a fantastic high quality strap. Very comfy and incredibly sturdy and one of the most adjustable I have ever found. The backing is non slip so the instrument stays in the position you put it until you want it to move.The adjustment system: part of the strap retracts into the main body and is held there by two screws. It works very well, it doesn't drift out of adjustment over time. But it does take a screw driver to adjust.Also you will need to buffer the ends that attach to the guitar strap pins against the body of an acoustic during mic'd recording sessions otherwise you will make very audible creaking noises as the guitar grips onto the leather and rubs with any slight movement. I made some fabric covers with some ultrasoft material and it works perfectly to prevent the creaks and squeaks and keep the guitar silent
